Thanks for your comment on my blog- we are getting the refund for our ad, but it doesn't cover the time lost on a Sunday afternoon we had set aside for the Open House. It doesn't make up for the landscaper we paid to come touch-up the yard, the gas we used to travel from NC to Danville for the day, or the church Homecoming meal we skipped so that we wouldn't be late for our potential buyers. The Register & Bee is a joke, and for me, always has been. When I was an Averett University Theatre major, they misquoted me several times in their pieces on our shows, and I wasn't the only one! The writing is like a fifth grade journalism project (this is gracious), the editing is nonexistant, and the coverage is unprofessional and biased.
