It's about beating bullies. Bullies are people who attack those of us who are talented, capable, strong and have ethics. They can't stand to see someone better than they are get ahead. They get things by lying, cheating and sleeping with people. They can't tolerate being around excellence and talent. You know you've got talent if you're forced out of a job or fired because of bullying. When they combine bullying and sexual harassment it's even worse. Know that you are not alone. GOOD journalists and GOOD mangers don't have to rely on intimidation. GOOD managers have a backbone and do the right thing. Bad managers work at places like The Danville Register & Bee - where, Human Resources person Ann Austin told me "OF course we'd all like some recognition and praise but that just doesn't happen around here. None of us get that." She acted like it was a rebellious act to suggest it could. Go to www.youtube.com and type in bullies in the search box. Now - this is what bullies do:
Bullying in newsrooms, in the workplace, in schools, in public HAS GOT TO STOP.
Media General is a MAJOR OFFENDER and should be exposed. If you are being bullied at your workplace, your school - don't kill yourself and don't kill others. Make a video. Start a blog. EXPOSE THE BULLIES. Email me and I'll post your link here.

What's this blog really about?
You may notice a variety of topics here - from business, to charity promotion, even to local news, but the primary reason this blog was created was to alert readers to the hostile atmosphere and sexual harassment at The Danville Register & Bee. The readers and creator of this blog want a FULL FRONT PAGE apology in the Danville Register & Bee, plus the disciplining of those individuals involved. Until then, we'll continue to post regular updates. To tolerate THIS kind of behavior by a major media network is intolerable. And this isn't just ONE instance. Media General has been sued nationwide for racism and sexism, yet they CONTINUE to keep the offenders employed. Why? And why am I doing this? TRUTH compels me.
